Remember Wounded Knee

This pony was created to honor the Native Americans that died at Wounded Knee and the bitter cold winds that blew the day after. This pony gives you chills as you feel the bitter cold wind blowing at his backside. The wool trade blanket lays draped across his back and as the corners blow upward. The falling snow is starting to pile up in the grasses and the heat of the pony has melted the snow to his coat.

 

 

It has recieved rave reviews from those who have seen it so far. The reception of this pony has been tremendous and I would like to thank all of you that have taken the time to email me and let me know what this pony means to you.  I had anticipated that particular pony coming out as a figurine more than any other I have ever seen - for the story & meaning behind it, the stature of the pony, & other more personal reasons.

 I've fallen in love with a horse!  When I saw the first picture of Wounded I loved him so I ordered him.

I absolutely LOVE that pony!!!  The pictures of him are so outstanding that I can’t even imagine what he looks like in person.
